As the Founder of G Kitchen, Lucas is driven to bring delicious foods to the tables of his customers. His passion for food was cultivated during his time in foodservice roles at Whole Foods Market, Zagara’s Specialty Natural Foods, and Ukrop’s Supermarkets. For Lucas, food is both a vocation and a vacation. He is deeply committed to authentic, great-tasting foods—whether preparing dishes for friends and family or exploring the newest restaurants to stay on the cutting edge of culinary trends. An outside-the-box thinker, Lucas thrives on the challenge of keeping pace with the ever-evolving foodservice industry. His ability to build trusting relationships and his strong understanding of customer and industry needs are what make G Kitchen unique and successful.

As CIO of G Kitchen, Lucas leverages both his culinary passion and his strong relationships to identify opportunities for growth beyond the team’s core focus areas. He actively tracks market trends and gathers data to support G Kitchen’s sales strategies, while drawing on his culinary expertise to drive innovation and long-term growth.

Jesse Giordano

As G Kitchen’s CEO, Jesse is dedicated to ensuring the team delivers best-in-class service to G Kitchen’s customers, family of suppliers, and distributor partners. He also focuses on driving internal operational effectiveness to strengthen the company’s foundation. Jesse draws on his project management and consulting expertise—skills he honed while working as a learning consultant for one of the world’s most respected professional services firms.

Passionate about both people and food, Jesse embodies the perfect pairing for G Kitchen. Outside of work, he enjoys smoking BBQ with Lucas at the Giordano Farm, playing softball, cheering on his son and daughter at their sporting events, and serving as the comic relief for the G Kitchen team.

Megan Simyak

Megan Simyak

Director of Retail Sales

Megan joins the G Kitchen team with a strong culinary background and seven years of CPG experience. She began her career as a Pastry Chef in Cincinnati, where she served as Head Chef overseeing a 6,000 sq. ft. bakery before becoming the Managing Pastry Chef for the Mid-Atlantic Kroger Division. After relocating to West Virginia, she continued her work with Kroger through a marketing firm as an Account Manager, supporting store openings with bakery category management and team training. Megan later transitioned into sales and data analytics, where she supported a nationwide retail sales team in Walmart stores. She is passionate about people and excels at building strong relationships that drive growth and successful partnerships.

Outside of work, Megan embraces her love of history, inspired by her father, by exploring the rich heritage of the Richmond/Williamsburg, VA area through museums and battlefields. Her competitive spirit shines on the golf course in summer and the squash court in winter. Living along the James River, she also enjoys spending time on the water and taking advantage of the area’s extensive trail network.

Teresa Hitchings

Senior Business Manager

Teresa brings more than 20 years of leadership experience, including 11 years in the food industry, to her role as Senior Business Manager at G Kitchen. She is dedicated to building strong supplier and distributor partnerships while overseeing daily operations that drive growth and efficiency.

Outside of work, Teresa enjoys traveling, hiking, staying active at the gym, and spending quality time with her family.

Robert Vause

Robert Vause

Manager of Culinary Sales & Innovation

Robert began his culinary career more than twenty-five years ago in the restaurant industry—and he hasn’t looked back since. In 2010, after three years as Executive Chef at a tapas and wine bar, he made the leap to retail by joining Whole Foods Market. Over his tenure there, he held a variety of roles, including managing two high-volume prepared foods departments and ultimately serving as the lead developer for culinary commercialization. Robert brings this depth of experience to G Kitchen, where he provides an optimistic and innovative approach to problem solving for all of our partnerships.

Outside of the kitchen, Robert enjoys life as a dedicated dad—supporting his kids at tennis matches and band practices—and never misses his nightly after-dinner walks with his wife and their goldendoodle, Birdie. In his free time, you’ll often find him cruising the streets of Frederick, MD in his “super cool” minivan, windows down and heavy metal blasting at full volume.
